Sonar Waves

What is sonar?

Sonar is a system to detect underwater objects, and also test the depth of the water by emitting sound pulses. You receive the data when it bounces back to the are where is was emitted from.

How does it work?

Sonar is simply using an echo. When an animal or machine makes a noise, it sends sound waves into the environment around it. Those waves bounce off nearby objects, and some of them reflect back to the object that made the noise.
